whilst eschewing (geddit?) the jokes, i recently acquired a marlin sidewinder for £15, its a hunk of wood, the neck was out of line, the frets had been removed in a diy stylee, but its great for playing with a violin bow or a drumstick, detuned an octave and put through a sustain pedal

Aparrently used by Welsh bands Ewe B-40; Ewe Two; The Ewe (notably on Won't get Wooled Again on Ewe's Next); the Jones Brothers, and on Elvis' version of Sheepbuilding.

It's got out of hand - I'm just about to head out for Sunday lunch and I'm gonna have the pork - do you hear? - PORK!!

Then again, they do something that sounds like 'lamb cutlass' - I think graphite might be involved.
