King Tut Posted February 13 Posted February 13 We’ve got a festival in Sweden in July. We’ll be flying in to Denmark then driving across the bridge to the gig in Sweden. I understand the regs on Carnets were relaxed a couple of years ago - what’s the score these days and is there anything peculiar to Denmark and Sweden? Thanks in advance. 1 Quote
Si600 Posted February 13 Posted February 13 (edited) I can't help with the carnet info, but prebook your Oresund Belt ticket. It makes crossing the bridges a damn sight cheaper than just turning up and crossing them. https://www.oresundsbron.com/en/tickets Edited February 13 by Si600 Quote

Stu-khag Posted February 13 Posted February 13 this was my understanding- https://musiciansunion.org.uk/news/eu-provides-clarity-regarding-portable-musical-instruments-and-associated-ata-carnet-requirements article is a bit out of date now though Quote
cetera Posted February 13 Posted February 13 When I flew to Europe last year I went through customs in and out with no issue as my basses were considered 'carry-ons'. If I'd had amps etc then I would have need a carnet (and would have been in a van!). Quote
