My clear-out continues. It turns out that I am not a fretless person, although I have been trying. I think it's better I stick to fretted though.

This is a beautiful Squier Vintage Modified Jazz. I did a lot of research before buying. This was the best bang for buck I could find in a fretless instrument.

I like the ebanol fretboard so much I bought another fretted Squier that has one. It sounds a lot like another Jazz I have with a genuine ebony board.

I had the fretboard levelled a year or so back to make sure I could get a good setup on it. I've given it plenty of love.

Weight is 9 lbs 3 oz. on the kitchen scales. Strung with D'Addario NYXL roundwounds. They sound fantastic on this instrument.

It's in great condition and everything works the way it ought - truss rod, electronics, etc. Original specs can be seen at https://www.squierwiki.com/VM-Jazz-Bass-Fretless.

Reverb has this presently as £365. £309 shipped in the UK seems fairer.
