Hi, I am after a gig bag that I can put any of my basses in, which includes my MM Bongo - unfortunately the bongo is longer than most at 121cm, whereas most gig bags are 119cm. So they sort of fit in if you take the straps off it and bend the edges a bit but it is not ideal.

My old gig bag fitted but it is falling apart now, so I need something else.

As recommended above . The only case I found that would fit my Burns Bison . Same length as the Bongo . You will have to remove the additional cushion at the bottom which is attached by velcro . Not tried it but the Fender FB1225 was the only other one that may have fitted . The Gator is a fantastic case .

Gator Pro Transit (or the old Pro Go X which is the same bag) is also long enough and a bit cheaper:

The Pro Go Deluxe is a great gigbag though and would be my choice.

I have been looking at Gator gig bags and couldn’t work out what the difference was between the Transit and the Pro Go X as gear4music have both at different prices.

Thank you for clarifying.

Think it's just the material that's different, the Pro Go X is made of the same stuff as the Pro Go Deluxe. I got mine when they were discounted to £50 a few years back, wouldn't pay more than £80 tbh as the TFG Extreme is cheaper and of similar quality. If your budget is around £100 then look at the TFG Ultimate as well, that's a great gigbag and nicer than the Pro Go X.
