Fender Marcus Miller -years of production and serial numbers

Hi!

Does anyone have any reliable information about the years in which the Japanese Fender Marcus Miller was produced? Is there any dating system for this model because the ones from  Support.fender.com
probably do not apply to MM.

All I know…

 

started 1998 Japan 

ended (around) 2014 after a brief production run in Mexico.

What's weird is there are a few serial numbers that are 94/95 according to some reports.

 

You probably already know the 5 string models were exclusively made in USA.

My doubts arise from the fact that the serial number of one of my MMs is B+XXXXXX.

Here it is written:
