mcnach Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Last night I was incredibly tired. First set was a struggle but managed. Second set... I found myself fighting my eyelids and a couple of times I had that feeling when you just nodded off for a few seconds and return... confused to find myself on stage playing. It wasn't my best performance but it worked. Crazy. 😂 Has anybody else had similar experiences? 1 Quote
itu Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Once at our singer's house. Yes, a bit of booze was involved. Others woke me up, while I was still playing at that super soft sofa. Quote
Lozz196 Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Nah, am still trying to master playing whilst awake 🤣 5 Quote
Burns-bass Posted February 16 Posted February 16 I did a dad joke about this. Did you know I learn to play guitar while I sleep? I’ve been fretting all night. (kids didn’t laugh as they’re kids) 2 Quote

SH73 Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Not playing but I once fell asleep standing, I woke up...luckily... as soon as my body started falling forward. It was after a very long day as work. Quote
pete.young Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Not playing, but I fell asleep during a dive in the Red Sea once - Woodhouse reef, just drifting along in the current 15 metres down. Someone else's depth alarm woke me up. Quote
Beedster Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Yep, it’s happened to me a few times, feels like you’re dreaming that you’re on-stage at a gig, then you wake up and you’re on stage at a gig. In my case they’re micro sleeps of literally milliseconds each time but such is the nature of sleep it can feel like a whole lot longer. Not risky on stage (starting to lose balance will wake you immediately) but f***ing dangerous behind the wheel where you don’t lose balance 😕 Quote
