Hey guys

Ive ordered my first ACG.....and I'm already thinking it wont be the last!

Here is the spec:

5 string fretted, B-G
American Black Walnut core
Claro Walnut top
5 piece Maple/wenge neck
Rosewood fingerboard
16" radius
17mm spacing with piezo
series/parallel switching
FB pickups, with a ramp between
Hipshot to drop the E down to a D
EQ01 Preamp
oil finish
and finally the most important spec.....26 frets

The shape is a combination of the top half of the Finn Singlecut (of which I believe theres only been one),
with the bottom half of the recurve

Settled on this top:

Hey Rich,
awesome sounding spec!
Love the mix of the 2 shapes too, looks perfectly balanced to me...

That's going to be a hell of a bass.
i modelled the spec mostly around the matt garrison fodera

........but with none of that shoddy american build quality!
You going for a 33" scale too then?
Both my basses are 33"ers and I absolutely love them, they're a breeze to play!

Cheers,
Eude

pickups are gonna be a pretty snug fit due to the 26 frets, but will just about fit!
very pleased with the way its turning out

I'm pretty certain I saw this one when I was up in Alan's workshop speccing my fifth and sixth ACGs last weekend. Looked very nice indeed.
