I have a Steinberger fretless bass and I can’t find out the model. It’s been refinished and fitted with EMG electronics. I saw a XQSTD5 for sale and it looks very similar, except neck bolt arrangement is different.
Any help is appreciated!IMG_3528.thumb.jpeg.98dc8192dce8093426fed56483bb9d3f.jpegIMG_3529.thumb.jpeg.6d248f368a7ffb5b13acdc86ed2d9411.jpeg

Wood neck

In which case @Franticsmurf is correct in saying it's a Spirit bass although I think the official model number was XZ2, the Q designation being kept for the graphite necked Q4/ Q5 (version1) or XQ2/ XQ25 (Version 2)

The spirits all had the version 2 body, in my opinion much nicer than the V1.

Should be a nice bass.

Cheers @EMG456 - I've never been sure of the official model designation and took the 'XQ' from the website I linked too, failing to pick up on the Graphite neck element. Mine has the wooden neck.

It also came with the DB bridge, which I found very convenient over the years. As it is in semi retirement, I transplanted that bridge to my Hohner Jack headless which is currently a spare for gigs.
