MrDinsdale Posted February 22 Posted February 22 (edited) First up, absolutely love this bass, but dream bass came up so selling some stuff to try and justify a purchase. The best Jazz bass Ive tried, every preferred to my mates American jazz. The neck is excellent. Its had a couple of dings on the body but nothing substantial. All set up well and plays great, could go lower. Photos all suck but will try and upload some better ones tomorrow when lighting is better. For full specs see https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/181213336008008--schecter-j-4-maple-fb-sea-foam-green Price drop - £425 Shipping available, collection preferred Edited yesterday at 09:23 by MrDinsdale 6

krispn Posted Friday at 20:54 Posted Friday at 20:54 (edited) I played the monster tone p pick up. Huge! How do the J’s sound? Edited Friday at 20:55 by krispn
MrDinsdale Posted Sunday at 14:39 Author Posted Sunday at 14:39 @krispn they're pretty punchy, certainly bigger than most jazz basses I’ve played. I think I might just set it up for BEAD for an upcoming project, pop a stellartone pot in and it'd be perfect.
krispn Posted Sunday at 17:21 Posted Sunday at 17:21 If I hadn’t tricked out my Harley Benton jazz with a new loom and some Fender AV Pure ‘74 pick ups I may well have been in talks with you. Love the colour ( my HB is the same colour) and I know those pick up deliver. I actually was gonna set the HB up as a BEAD bass too! Great minds!
MrDinsdale Posted yesterday at 07:53 Author Posted yesterday at 07:53 Haha good shout! Here is a little snippet with the J4 and the Capo, not exactly the best example of range though 🤣 I'm gonna withdraw this ad for now I think. Got a little brass nut which I think I'm gonna set up for BEAD and see how we get on. My only issue with the bass is that the pickups can be a little uncomfortable to rest your thumb on because of their shape, I'm gonna be using pick more for the new stuff though so its not really an issue.
