FretsOnFire Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Long shot but does anyone know of a good cover alternative for the Markbass Traveler 102P I've looked at the official branded one but for £50 it seems very pricey for what it is Quote
Dan Dare Posted February 24 Posted February 24 £50 doesn't seem too bad if it's of good quality. I've just paid £100 for two Roqsolid covers for my cabs. 2 Quote
BassmanPaul Posted February 24 Posted February 24 I too don't consider 50 Quid expensive. Think how much repairing the covering of the cabinet would cost. Quote
Bluescaster Posted March 2 Posted March 2 I also got covers for my traveller 2x10 and 1x15 from hotcovers. Excellent quality and as the same as above, I think they were approx the same money. Quote
stevie Posted March 3 Posted March 3 I also recommend Hot Covers products. Not only are they excellent quality but the company is great to deal with. A low-cost alternative is to use a large polythene bag. Check out eBay item number:191902777531, for example. The supplier offers 400 gauge bags up to 20 x 30 inches, which should be large enough - but obviously measure first. 400 gauge is thick enough to protect from minor damage as well as dust and dirt. It's not the most elegant solution, although at £2.50 delivered, it's certainly the cheapest. Quote
FretsOnFire Posted March 3 Author Posted March 3 Having now got the cab in my possession I can see why a high quality cover not only costs a fair bit but is an essential item 😄 2 Quote
