Someone has hacked this poor thing about something rotten...

"...looks ROUGH ...but plays & sounds just FINE !"

It does, indeed, look ROUGH! Blimey, it's had quite the life and the routing job is so bad I'd have thought it was my work if I didn't know better.

Having said all that... if I was into 4-string basses I'd possibly consider this. It's nice to have a bass you don't feel worried about getting the odd bump or scratch.

Just the mere £500 for a bass that’s been hacked to bits and had a very large split in the neck.

What are these people smoking.

Yeah…. It’s not been in the hands of a luthier has it? I guess someone saw that mint ones were worth a fair bit and thought they’d try their luck.

Our old German friend, think he's either listed this before (years ago) or this is a different hacked up Ibanez MC. Whichever it is this guy's storage locker must be a musical house of horrors.

Came here to say he's been trying to offload that poor, destroyed lump of firewood for years.

It's two things - a £100-ish project that might be fixable if you could find a set of the correct pickups & had the tools/skills to tidy up & fill that 'routing'; and it's an MC824, not an MC800. 24 frets, see?

Ahhh. Well. That’s interesting.
