Santana

I love this track at the moment,who played the beautiful fretless on this and what was he using? I have promised myself a fretless this year and this is the first thing im going to christen it with.

Bass player is David Margen. He was with Santana around the late 70's/early 80's.
Check him out here on the Santana 'Marathon' tour from 1979.
He's using a fretless Jazz and check out the bass lick at 00:26...
