BSX Allegro 4 in tobacco burst

The time has come to sell this wonderful instrument. I love almost everything about it, but the posture required, sitting and standing, is causing me pain, and I've not been able to get around that.

As per the title, it's a BSX Allegro 4 string in tobacco burst. If you're interested, you'll likely know all about them (their website is old fashioned but informative).

It has an acoustic chamber, with f-holes, and the unplugged volume is just right for quiet practice.

The preamp is very good indeed. Bartolini, 3 band, developed specifically for this instrument. Easy to produce a very natural sounding warm tone.

The bridge is fixed, but the neck is adjustable! Really simple and quick to alter the action (one screw to hand turn)

Condition is good. It has some scuffs to the headstock, the top bout (where the neck meets the body) has a 'milky' sheen to it. Sunlight fading? Not sure, but it's cosmetic only. The picture shows a line that looks like a crack, but absolutely isn't. It's just where two timbers meet). Some very minor marks here and there, but all round good nick.

The rubber endstop is worn through, it's the metal endstop that contacts the floor.

Strings: the A,D, and G strings are Spirocore Weichs, can't remember what the E is, but it's nearly as good as the Spirocores, which are just wonderful, hugely expressive.

I've put dots on the side of the neck, as you can see (but nobody else)

There is a BSX bag that comes with it. Good for carrying, but doesn't offer too much protection. Also a cheap French bow.

I won't post this, but happy to host potential buyers, also happy to travel halfway to meet, depending on where...

Thanks for reading. Happy to fill in any missing info on request...
