Alembic Essence 4 string £2220 Germany

Up for sale is this sweet Alembic Essence 4 String in mint condition. It still has the protective foil on the electronic covers, golden Alembic font on the pick ups etc.
Maple body, maple neck, figured maple top, ebony fingerboard and the Essence circuit with volume, pan and filter.

Everything is healthy and works as should. The bass weighs 3.9 Kilogramms, balances well and sounds terrific! Letting it go for a nice price of 2650 Euros. I've had a couple of these over the years (cherryburst and acquaburst) and they're lovely little basses - quite slender and relatively light.  They also balance relatively well (for an Alembic).  It's a good way to get into Alembic's filter system.  Those I've owned were extremely well-built and solid - perhaps not quite as refined as the more expensive models, but very playable and classy, with piano-like tones on tap (as you'd expect).  This looks like a lovely example, and especially so given its age
