I've had a couple of these over the years (cherryburst and acquaburst) and they're lovely little basses - quite slender and relatively light.  They also balance relatively well (for an Alembic).  It's a good way to get into Alembic's filter system.  Those I've owned were extremely well-built and solid - perhaps not quite as refined as the more expensive models, but very playable and classy, with piano-like tones on tap (as you'd expect).  This looks like a lovely example, and especially so given its age
