Rescued an Ibanez TMB30 from my mates rehearsal room recently and have got to the point now where I'm wanting to repaint the body.

I'd like to paint it this sort of colour but struggling to find any nitrocellulose paint to match this sort of colour (doesn't need to be exactly this colour and I'm not looking for a perfect finish as the bass was a freebie!!)

Any recommendations would be a massive help. They only seem to do Shell pink at northwest guitars 😔

As above.

If it doesn't have to be nitro, find the Pantone colour number you are looking for (doing a search will find your match) and go to a supplier of spray cans. I have used Paints4U and they are very helpful.

Something like this from North West Guitars. Nitro is quite toxic to spray and I believe needs special respirators, venting etc. Does it need to be nitro as there are "safer" options.

Definitely doesn't have to. Might take a trip to Hobbycraft...

Got a can of Plasticote (I think it's polyurethane spray paint) from Hobbycraft and a can of clear coat for less than £15 for both.

Worth a punt!! Stay tuned for results 😅
