ribass Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Hello everyone. This is my first post and it's a simple question. Is it possible to request in the Basschat Marketplace if someone has a specific instrument and wants to sell it? I apologize in advance if the post breaks the rules of the group. Thanks Franco 2 Quote

Owen Posted March 9 Posted March 9 The items wanted section is a weird one. Every time I ask there, within 24 hours, someone has come up with it. Do people scour it constantly? 1 Quote
Geek99 Posted March 9 Posted March 9 (edited) Not in my case. (24 hours and no one had one) Edited March 9 by Geek99 Quote

But my 5 string one is available! Quote

Bilbo Posted March 11 Posted March 11 (edited) I have a stick you can have if anyone has a moon they are happy to let go. I don't want cash for it; a donation to Children In Need would be nice. Edited March 11 by Bilbo Quote
lozkerr Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I have a moon, but I'm not sure about letting it out of the house. The last time I did that, the police arrested me for indecent exposure. 1 Quote
leschirons Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Let's just hope that our new member and OP doesn't read past Beedster's post eh?😂 Quote

ped Posted March 11 Posted March 11 12 minutes ago, Sean said: Well, I didn't know that before! 😀 Aye it was partly/mostly because the wanted forum was a magnet for scammers. Lots of people were approached by people saying they had what the member wanted - I guess asking in public you're leaving yourself open to that. We also had to stop the ability to reply, otherwise people would use it to circumvent placing an advert, so it was a bit awkward, whereas now people can discuss potential leads and links to help the member looking for the item as much as they like. It's quite effective because between us we can find just about anything! 1 1 Quote
