Strings and Beyond (USA) have twin packs of Daddario XL Nickels for $19.99 at the moment. So about £7.55 a set...

Depends on what you would call "cheap" really.

 

Under £20, you can't beat Warwick Red Label IMO.

 

Between £20-30, you get a lot more choice, that Markbass deal at Andertons is tempting, Elites are always a good bet, Rotosounds are a solid choice. You can get D'Addario's at about £28 from their Amazon store (Pro Steels are my go to strings at the moment).

 

Google searches are your friend here, shop around, buy in bulk for better deals etc.
