All basses should be headless with the truss rod adjustment at the string clamp end of the neck. The Cort Space should have thrust ball bearing races on the tuners. The Ibanez EHB range should have harder top facings and a natural wood finish fretless 5 string, and more choice of parallel fret instruments. The Hils headless range should include parallel fret 5 strings. Quote
gjones Posted Tuesday at 17:51 Posted Tuesday at 17:51 I'd like my Fender Precision Elite better if it came with a Jazz neck like the MIM Deluxes. Quote

tauzero Posted Tuesday at 23:56 Posted Tuesday at 23:56 Squier should take a look at the Sire Z7 and offer a J plus switchable MM (parallel/series/single coil). And if they insist on keeping the hideous great headstock, at least put lightweight tuners on it and preferably cut it down to half its length and go 2+2 or 3+2 instead of 4+0 or 4+1. Quote

I really notice the real estate on my Fender 4+1 headstock when I pack it in my Warwick gig bag. It's my preferred bag when on public transport as the top of the bass doesn't sit a mile over my head. I like my Fender but the headstocks (compared to my Warwick 3+2) looks unnecessarily huge 😄 Quote

My 3D bridge is a pleasure to adjust compared to my Sandberg. Setting the intonation on it once was enough. I'm never changing it again, and I don't care if new strings, or a truss rod adjustment put the intonation out. Nothing wrong with a standard Fender bridge IMO. It's basic but it works. So to answer the OP question - all Sandbergs should use a basic L shaped bridge. Edited Thursday at 12:47 by PainInTheBass Quote
bass_dinger Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I am okay with a 3+2 headstock, but I love the quirkiness of a 2+3 headstock. Offer it as an option, for no other reason than making me happy. Quote
