GrahamLeeds Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Has anyone any experience getting a bass painted and airbrushed with their own design? I'm thinking about trying this since it seems like the best way to get a bass I like playing with the aesthetics I want. Curious to what the costs and pitfalls may be.... Any recommendations on where to go? cheers Graham 1 Quote
JJMotown Posted March 17 Posted March 17 The cost effective option, if this is what you're looking for is to get your design printed onto a vinyl wrap. That way you can always change it back later on. Quote
GrahamLeeds Posted March 17 Author Posted March 17 Never thought of that! I guess if they can wrap weird shapes on cars they can do a bass... will go and investigate... thanks 🙂 Quote
JJMotown Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Yup, there's a few threads on here about vinyl wraps, just use the search function. Quote
Gank Bass Posted Tuesday at 20:14 Posted Tuesday at 20:14 Never tried air brushing but I've hand painted several basses with acrylics! There's enough black, reds and sunbursts out there - go nuts! Quote
