Paint and airbrush

Has anyone any experience getting a bass painted and airbrushed with their own design?

I'm thinking about trying this since it seems like the best way to get a bass I like playing with the aesthetics I want.

Curious to what the costs and pitfalls may be....

Any recommendations on where to go?

The cost effective option, if this is what you're looking for is to get your design printed onto a vinyl wrap. That way you can always change it back later on.

Never thought of that!

I guess if they can wrap weird shapes on cars they can do a bass...

Never tried air brushing but I've hand painted several basses with acrylics! There's enough black, reds and sunbursts out there - go nuts!
