Hi peeps

I'm trying to sort out a way to split my signal. Apply different effects to different parts. Then rejoin my signal...anyone know what kind of gizmo I'd need to "join" my signal back together after it had been split? Does such a thing even exist?

Any assistance would be very appreciated.

It might not be what you're looking for specifically but I've recently started using a Boss LS-2 so that I can blend a drive signal and a clean signal together as I found having the drive in the normal lost too much clarity.

Might be worth a try as they are fairly easy to pick up on the second hand market.

There is also the EHX Tri Parallel Mixer, I've not used this myself though.

I'm using a Joyo Othros pedal, which appears to do the same as the LS-2, to combine bass guitar and bass synth signals. In the configuration I'm using I have independent control of each signal's output volume.

2x Basic A/B/Y pedals 1 to split, 1 to join

How would you use them to join? Can you just plug the output into the A and B and the it come out of the Y?

if you want to split the highs and lows id go for the tyler, however if you want full range Jhs do a split and combiner as two little units

What's the Tyler? As that sounds like what I'm trying to do? ❤️

Yep... they work passive, but with led if powered.

You have a hpf and lpf sides so you can filter the signal Between two loops and have effects purely on the high and then different effects on the lows

Or lower side for dry, and higher for wet. I split the band at around 400 Hz. Worth trying, although takes some time to find your own sound.

DSM&H have the Simplifier Bass Station that has split FX loops, and I see they've just launched a new & improved version called the Bass Master which looks like it's a bit more flexible e.g. what used to be the Parallel FX loop can now be switched between that or the Preamp channel.
