If the guy sells £10k worth of stuff (which he'll do easily and then some) eBay will still collect £350 in final value fees; added to which he had to list all of that stuff! Hmmm now let me see! eBay are not responsible for you being scammed (at least until someone can bring a landmark case) and are entitled to keep all of the fees that they cream off ANY scammer operating on eBay... do you seriously think they'll rush to close anybody down? They would need experts in every possibly category - I can spot a dodgy bass but would have no chance with a dodgy camera (or a dodgy woman as most of my mates will confirm). Yes, the networked feedback is a strong clue, but not conclusive without other clues. Having said that, you're both right, it's not intheir interests to police it anyway is it. He also wants £1400 for the Fender 75/76 , and £1900 for the natural Jazz, maybe he's just testing the waters on ebay. i think it's def the same person.
