cetera Posted March 21 Posted March 21 (edited) I've had a busy 3 or 4 months of buying, selling and trading. Here are the ones that have come in so far in 2025. Very pleased with ALL of them! L-R... Ibanez Soundgear SR800BK (1993), Squier 40th Anniversary Precision (Gold Edt 2021) & Epiphone Grabber (2024) L - R... Spector Coda Pro 4 (2013), Kramer Spector NS2B (late 80s) & Stuart Spector Design (SSD) NS-94 (1994) Edited March 21 by cetera 20 Quote
Sean Posted March 21 Posted March 21 All very cool. What's the history of the NS-94 as a model? How did that come about as a design? Looks intriguing to me. Quote

I had one in amber with LED’s - still wonder where that bass is; it cropped up once on eBay…think I was 18/19 when I bought it. Theyre Korean build, neck through…very cool/different 2 Quote

HeadlessBassist Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I'm going to have to sit down and do one of these in the next few days. 2025 has been a very expensive year, so far. Is it like a church confessional? 2 1 Quote

Is it like a church confessional? Yes, though maybe more like AA? . e.g. My name is *name* and I'm a bass buying addict.... 1 Quote

Looks intriguing to me. It was a new 'transitional' model in the early 90's when Stuart Spector was re-establishing his brand after the Kramer bankruptcy. He used the name SSD (Stuart Spector Design) and tried some new shapes/designs like this one, alongside the tried and tested NS2 shape, until he got his brand name of 'Spector' back.... This was one of the first Asian (Korean) models he had produced for the brand and it is of very high quality (maple, neck-thru, EMG BTS circuit). Kind of a precursor to the NS2000/4 model that came along soon afterwards... Edited Monday at 15:20 by cetera 1 Quote
PaulThePlug Posted Monday at 15:30 Posted Monday at 15:30 Alas the SR isn't the Pebble Body, but that P 'n Grabber combination, nice. 1 Quote
crazycloud Posted Thursday at 03:45 Posted Thursday at 03:45 I'd have #6 and maybe #1 myself, except they're 4s. Big hoard and hope you enjoy them. It's been a long time since I've had such a big haul in a brief time myself. 1 Quote
