Very loud white noise on amp

Just seeing if anyone knows what the issue could be

 

I have a Trace Elliot Gp7 Series 6 amp that i got off marketplace and it produces a very loud constant white noise. I have it plugged into a fender bass amp. The noise changes when i eq and especially when i have the mid pre shape on and if i turn the pre amp down and the output. Does anyone know if this is just a simple thing i can take to a shop or is it just what they’re like?

Possibly one of the transistors early in the preamp has gone noisy/leaky. Some need to be replaced as pairs.

 

A tech should be able to sort it.
