Fretless 2004 Fender Japan 62RI Precision Bass

For sale is my 2004 fretless Fender Japan 62RI Precision bass in sunburst. Bought this from Bass Bros in 2022 and it's been an absolute dream to play. Only modification I've had done is have the Fender 62 Vintage pickups fitted by The Bass Gallery. This bass has mostly been my backup but was used to record an EP in the summer of 2024.

I'm super reluctant to sell this as it's such an amazing bass and the neck is probably my favourite neck out of all my basses but a new project means I need to buy a backup fretted bass so this will make way for my next backup 😂

Fitted with LaBella Low Tension flats I think and comes with the original pickups and gig bag.

Located in Camberley, Surrey. Any trial welcome and postage available at buyers cost.

Frankly @Linus27 I’d simply buy a replacement fretted neck and put it on that bass for however long is necessary. It’s a crap time to be selling a bass and you may regret letting that beauty go 👍

That's actually not a bad idea sir, especially as it's going to be a backup, as long as it works then that's all that matters. I shall have a think although it would be good to thin the collection down as I do have 4 fretless basses.

It's a rubbish plan! If my tax rebate arrives before that sells, it's heading to the South coast!!

It would be a pleasure to sell it to you as well after allowing me to use some of your basses many years ago 😃
