Nice bass, not so rare but just a Mk1 as opposed to a MkII. I've owned a blue one and a blue MkII. Many prefer the MkI.

I've got a TRB5 with Nordstrand Phat Stacks and Audere pre-amp. Got it for £300. Hated it when I first got it mainly because of the surfboard neck. Now its my favourite live playing bass and sounds absolutely killer.

Anyhow, lovely bass.[/quote]

Nope, the P's have thru necks but the MkIs, MkIIs and Patitucci models have bolt ons.

Ba55me15ter, and Brother Jones,
yes Peter is right, your TRB5-P is a neck-through like the newest model: the TRB5-PII, :)

If for whatever reason you want to move this bass on, please let me know. I'm still on a hunt for a 5 stirng fretted that I like and I loved my trb6.

Hmmm.... I love this bass, espcially for playing live with. Its got a huge sound so I don't think I'll be shifting it for the foreseeable future. If for some reason I do, I'll let you know.

oh and have a free bump too...
