Wireless home practice with: Headphone amp + iPad.

Good Morning BCers

I need help please.  I’ve practiced for years with a Vox Amplug,  wired headphones and an iPad using songs on You Tube.

Is there a wireless set up that l can use to practice with.  I’m sick of the wires.

I’m pretty hopeless with technology so something simple/easy to understand would be great.

All help greatfully received.

Thanks.

Boss WAZA air is the best solution, but it’s not cheap.

There is a used set on here, I think.

I found I used it a huge amount in the winter but less in the summer. So much so, that I went back to a wired setup.

There's now the Positive Grid NEO Spark too, at half the price of the Boss. How good it is on bass is another question.

It’s a really good point. The WaZa is only the one I’ve used so encourage others to add their perspectives.

I love my NUX Might Plug Pro. It has decent amp sims for something so basic. The only wire is from the unit to the headphones. It's well worth some research. works of an App that links to your song library of choice.

NUX Mighty Plug Pro or Boss Katana Go are both great options. As stated, you’ll have headphones wired to the unit, but that still leaves you totally mobile. And you can use whatever headphones you like.

But the OP is currently using a Vox Amplug which is doing exactly the same thing, and doesn't want wired headphones - a position that I entirely sympathise with, as I have both a Nux Mighty Plug and a Katana:Go and would rather have wireless headphones as it's the headphone wire which is annoying.

I would have thought the annoying bit of the Amplug is the necessity of a wired connection to the iPad, as it only as an aux input, not Bluetooth.  FWIW I had a Waza Air for a while and didn’t like the bulky headphones, large, non-folding transmitter, and expense.

Unfortunately that's the price you pay for latency low enough to allow real-time wireless audio transmission.

I drop my wire down my back under my top like with my In Ears. Its ok

I use the Nux Mighty Plug also. It’s absolutely brilliant to just pick the bass up and have a play. But, I must confess I wish it could send out to wireless headphones as it is frustrating getting tangled up in the headphone wire.
