Pestie Posted Tuesday at 09:34 Posted Tuesday at 09:34 Good Morning BCersĀ Ā I need help please. Ā Iāve practiced for years with a Vox Amplug, Ā wired headphones and an iPad using songs on You Tube. Ā Is there a wireless set up that l can use to practice with. Ā Iām sick of the wires. Ā Iām pretty hopeless with technology so something simple/easy to understand would be great. Ā All help greatfully received. Ā Thanks. Ā Mike Quote
Burns-bass Posted Tuesday at 09:43 Posted Tuesday at 09:43 Boss WAZA air is the best solution, but itās not cheap.Ā Ā There is a used set on here, I think. Ā I found I used it a huge amount in the winter but less in the summer. So much so, that I went back to a wired setup. Ā Ā 2 Quote
tauzero Posted Tuesday at 12:44 Posted Tuesday at 12:44 There's now the Positive Grid NEO Spark too, at half the price of the Boss. How good it is on bass is another question. Quote

KingPrawn Posted Tuesday at 19:52 Posted Tuesday at 19:52 I love my NUX Might Plug Pro. It has decent amp sims for something so basic. The only wire is from the unit to the headphones. It's well worth some research. works of an App that links to your song library of choice. 1 Quote
pineweasel Posted Tuesday at 19:59 Posted Tuesday at 19:59 (edited) NUX Mighty Plug Pro or Boss Katana Go are both great options. As stated, youāll have headphones wired to the unit, but that still leaves you totally mobile. And you can use whatever headphones you like.Ā Edited Tuesday at 20:01 by pineweasel 1 Quote
gazhowe Posted Tuesday at 20:03 Posted Tuesday at 20:03 Another vote for Boss Waza Air Bass. You can connect your bass and phone or iPad wirelessly. Great sound straight out of the box and so convenient. https://www.boss.info/global/products/waza-air_bass/ Ā Quote
Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted Tuesday at 21:01 Posted Tuesday at 21:01 I have a boss waza air bass as well. Excellent device for private practice. Quote

Burns-bass Posted Wednesday at 06:34 Posted Wednesday at 06:34 The Boss WaZa can be a Ā bit fiddly to set up. I followed a really good online tutorial that made it simple enough. Quote

I would have thought the annoying bit of the Amplug is the necessity of a wired connection to the iPad, as it only as an aux input, not Bluetooth. Ā FWIW I had a Waza Air for a while and didnāt like the bulky headphones, large, non-folding transmitter, and expense. Quote

Ā Unfortunately that's the price you pay for latency low enough to allow real-time wireless audio transmission. Quote

I drop my wire down my back under my top like with my In Ears. Its ok Quote
BabyBlueSound Posted Thursday at 07:04 Posted Thursday at 07:04 A vote here for Nux Mighty Plug. Never let me down, easy to pair and listen to backing tracks Quote
AlexDelores Posted Thursday at 07:20 Posted Thursday at 07:20 I use the Nux Mighty Plug also. Itās absolutely brilliant to just pick the bass up and have a play. But, I must confess I wish it could send out to wireless headphones as it is frustrating getting tangled up in the headphone wire. Quote
