That's why I didn't bring it up, nor did I mention the Epiphone Embassy (either the OG 60s one or the modern reimagined one) or the Gibson IV, despite having owned an example of all of them except the 60s Embassy. And yes, as a discontinued model, you can find it from time to time on the used market here in the UK, having previously been able to buy them new (I owned mine from new). I'm Just using it as an example to concur that set neck vs a neck through construction isn't really impactful on the overall tone, seeing as the EB is set, the TBird is neck through, and they both sound pretty much identical to my ears. I get that, but I'm starting to wish I hadn't opened my fat gob RE: T-birds being neck through, which was only intended as a factually correct statement and one of the (many) reasons why the bolt on Epiphone "Thunderbird" is not the right path to choose when chasing down a white T-bird... 1 Quote

Video and poor quality screenshot below. Thanks!! Sure, it looks like a Gibson but it might be an Epiphone Thunderbird Pro IV with a Gibson truss-rod cover, and the simple truth is the Epiphone is every bit as good as the Gibson for maybe one third the price. Seller's asking $600. I'd buy it myself if I had the money or of it's still for sale when I do. Edited 10 hours ago by jd56hawk 1 Quote
