paulmcnamara Posted March 28 Posted March 28 (edited) Just wondering why PMT price this combo at £1939.00 whilst Thomann can sell it for £1399.00. Seems like a vast difference! Edited March 28 by paulmcnamara Spelling Quote
BassmanPaul Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Retailers are free to charge what they think buyers will pay. It's also a matter of how many units a retailer sells. Quote

This^ Thomann no doubt shift a whole lit more of those than PMT do. The economics of scale dictate price point. Buy it from Thomann 1 Quote
jonno1981 Posted Sunday at 07:57 Posted Sunday at 07:57 (edited) A bunch of reasons. Thomann may be sitting on some old stock they bought at a lower price than buying some today. Maybe they're overstocked and want to clear them out. Pmt are advertising full rrp without having any in stock to generate some interest, different distributors between uk and Germany, different buying power. I’d shoot pmt a message with the thomann link asking for their actual price. I’d expect them to come down a bit. Edited 1 hour ago by jonno1981 1 Quote
Hellzero Posted Sunday at 16:18 Posted Sunday at 16:18 It's because PMT think they are the only ones to have access to the internet and they truly think their buyers are plain idiots who won't look elsewhere. 🤦🏻 2 Quote
