Steve Browning Posted yesterday at 14:58 Posted yesterday at 14:58 Band of Friends features my chum Brendan O'Neill and Rory's old bass player Gerry McAvoy. Unlikely to pop up in the UK but please keep an eye out nevertheless. 7 Quote
spongebob Posted yesterday at 15:43 Posted yesterday at 15:43 Sad news. Wonder if that Stingray was Gerry’s backup? I know from interviews he used a MM for his years with NBZ, then reverted to a P with the BoF for historical accuracy. Either way, horrible for the whole band. Hope karma catches up with thieving bar stewards. 🤬 1 Quote

Just hope they manage to get the stuff back, some tasty gear there which should hopefully be easily recognisable. Quote
Steve Browning Posted yesterday at 16:33 Author Posted yesterday at 16:33 I've asked Maggie (Brendan's wife) for any serial numbers. 1 Quote
Stub Mandrel Posted yesterday at 18:54 Posted yesterday at 18:54 Thank goodness they didn't get Gerry's precision. Quote
SICbass Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Bar stewards! I‘m on a number of secondhand instruments FB pages in Germany. I‘ll keep my eyes peeled. Do you happen to know what part of Germany they were in? Edited 5 hours ago by SICbass Quote
Steve Browning Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago Yes. It was in Bremen. Thank you for your assistance. Quote
Hellzero Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I check almost everything bass related each and every day all over Europe, so I'll keep my eyes wide opened too. Quote
Hellzero Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago That said photos and serial numbers would help a lot... Quote
