Lovaszi Luna Model Double Bass £6000 London SE20

Purchased brand new in 2019 from Laurence Dixon Bass Place. These basses are crafted in a master workshop in Hungary and completed in Laurence's workshop by Andras Lovaszi. More info here: https://www.laurencedixonbassplace.com/the-lovaszi-bass

 

This particular bass is fitted with the more premium endpin as can be found on the more expensive Stella model. A brand new Luna model currently costs £8000.

I have performed with it a lot over the past 6 years and it has picked up a few scars over that time - most notably a small crack in the front which was properly repaired by Laurence (the top taken off and the crack properly reinforced). It also has a couple of very small cracks on the side which have been glued, again by Laurence.

 

The fingerboard is in excellent condition and has a lovely flame to the finish. The neck is really smooth, no chips or dents. 
It its currently strung with Evah Pirrazi strings. Case included in sale.
