Marc S Posted Friday at 17:29 Posted Friday at 17:29 (edited) Squier fretless jazz neck, in really good condition. There is a tiny "ding", barely noticeable on the back of the neck around fret position 10. The fingerboard (Ebanol?) has some very very light surface marking, which you can't feel. Neck is nice & straight, and the truss rod works smoothly. Loaded tuners included - they're in great condition and turn smoothly. Bought with the intention of finding a suitable Squier body - but never got around to using, as I traded a fretless bass instead (Spector). It's such a nice neck, I think it needs to be used. I prefer not to post. Collection from Barry, South Wales, though I sometimes travel about, so a meet may be possible. No trades - I need to thin the collection. Marc S Posted Saturday at 14:16 Author Posted Saturday at 14:16 I think this neck is from a "Vintage Modified" series bass? But perhaps someone on here will know for sure. I once owned a VM P/J precision, and ended up wishing I'd kept the body, to use with this neck. The VM series really were pretty good quality instruments. Quote
ProjeKtWEREWOLF Posted Saturday at 14:19 Posted Saturday at 14:19 What's the heel width in mm please? Thanks. Quote

Marc S Posted Saturday at 14:25 Author Posted Saturday at 14:25 I must admit, I thought all Fender & Squier neck & pocket dimensions would be fairly standard - but I once compared this to a MIM Fender, and the neck was just a tad too tight for the neck pocket.... of course, a bit of filing / sanding the neck heel would have helped. (I didn't opt for that body though). Quote

Grassie Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Shame you’re not willing to post, I’d have snapped this up Quote
Marc S Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago PM replied to. Sadly, I've had several postal "issues" lately, both sending and receiving parcels 😞 Quote
