70s Fender fraude

Last week he listed it on reverb. With a different neckplate which showed an other serial number than on the headstock. It seems that it has been kicked of reverb after some reports, and now it's on ebay with a new neckplate.

 

Body is sen ash by the way, so probably from a Japanese copy.

 

Seller got offensive after I told him he wasn't honest. 

 

This is not his first eBay account. A few years back he "sold"  a bunch of vintage Fenders at premium prices through auction... apparently to himself as all showed up back for sale a day later.

ebay is rapidly becoming scam central in the same way as facebook marketplace. items that are fake, items that are damaged or out of stock when they go cheap with no reserve, items that don’t even exist.

 

easier to just not bother with it.
