Hello, UK bass-ed!

Hey everyone,

 

I’m in my mid 30s, married, two kids - and finally felt the urge to pick up the bass guitar again. Last played in bands during my GCSEs and A-Levels - so it’s been a minute! 
 

I’ve owned a Squier Precision Bass (seemingly before all of these newer model types - affinity, bronco etc). Which I gave away to a friend, and it’s still going strong - it certainly did me proud during my GCSEs and my music exams. I picked up the drum sticks briefly, had a few different kits - but it’s always been bass for me.

 

So here I am, many years later - waiting on delivery of my Squier Mustang CV 60s bass (Olympic white) from Thomann. I’ve used these guys before for guitars and equipment and I’ve always been impressed, so I’m excitedly waiting for the post once again! 
 

I’m hoping to jump into discussions here, time and family life allowing! Have a good evening everyone.
