2013 Squier CV Precision Bass - *SOLD* £399 Bridgend, South Wales

Here we have my 2013 ‘crafted in china’ Squier classic vibe Precision in the lovely Fiesta red. 
 

I’ve changed the Bridge to a knurled saddle 60’s type and added the tug bar, have the original which the buyer is more than welcome to have as well. 

It’s also wearing labella flatwounds (which were not cheap!) that are well broken in now. 
 

Condition is a solid 10/10 I think! 
 

Get your custom shop Pino vibes going for substantially less loot! 
 

No case / gig bag as it stands but I can probably find something if it sweetens the deal for the buyer.

 

Based in the Bridgend area of South Wales and would rather not ship, but I’m willing to discuss delivery / meet up within a reasonable distance.
 

Not looking for trades at the moment, shifting a few things to raise funds for a special upcoming birthday!

Hi Lewis, i have one of these (in FS at the moment too), i'm interested, where did you find a bridge with the holes that line up because i couldn't find one, it seemed that the the holes line up differently from the original 'hi-mass' bridge, did you have to 're-drill' as id probably keep mine if i can get a direct like-for-like replacement like this one, thanks in advance

Hi Rog, I guess I just must've got lucky, I swapped it out very soon after getting it and I definitely didn't have to re-drill.

Hey again Rich, the weight of the bass is exactly 4kg / 8.8lbs.  The strings are the 760FL's, 43-60-82-104.

I have a CV 70's with the same hi mass I swapped it out for a Hosco vintage bridge, all holes lined up perfectly except one of the outer ones, but I found I could still get the screw in and irlt was fine. Hope this helps.

Not wishing to derail the thread further, but I put a Hosco bridge on a Sonic Blue 60s CV P and 4 of the holes required filling and redrilling. I've yet to find a direct drop in for the Chinese CV bridges.

that's exactly what i came up against with Fender/Squier bridges i had lying around
