police squad Posted Tuesday at 10:26 Posted Tuesday at 10:26 Hi there people I'm about to wire up a P bass. The earth wire that goes to the bridge, what gauge should I use and do I tin the end with solder, or just leave it as is TY Quote
Aidan63 Posted Tuesday at 11:38 Posted Tuesday at 11:38 most companies use 22Awg I believe which is 0.34mm, or 20Awg which is 0.5mm and very commonly available one way to increase contact with the bridge is to fan the strands and then sandwich with copper foil to increase contact area and stop the wire being pushed into the finish/wood like is sometimes seen 1 Quote
