So this is the “I’ll not sell this one” bass.

 

It sounds perfect, quite modern and crisp…not vintage plummy Gibson.

 

Does an MTD’ish style, seems to pull musicman sounds but will do vintage stuff,

 

Ace, Mahogany Set neck, Mahogany Body, Beautiful flamed Maple Lid…Schaller Hardware, Bartolini Electronics…

 

Original Case and Gibson paperwork (one latch not functioning)

 

I will include the knobs it came with - seem to be very heavy duty, and the Gibson speed knobs I’ve bought to get it back to factory.

 

34” scale, ebony board:

new battery

recent GHS flea strings - very low action…

 

Some small marks, nothing at “ding” level.
