martinbass7750
Up for sale here is a pair of Mackie SRM450 (version 1) active PA cabs complete with Mackie carry bags. Theses are great PA cabs, fantastic sound with high output before feedback. I bought them new in Jan 2009. Each cabs delivers 400 watts rms. A Review: http://www.mackie.com/pdf/press/SRM450_SOSLive_Aug04.pdf I've been gradually reducing the size and weight of my gear, as I don't get much help loading the car! I'll happily carry both cabs on my shoulders at the start of a gig, but by the end of the evening my back complains about the weight of my bass! The carry bags are great - they have a zip up pouch for XLR and mains leads, plus shoulder straps to help with carrying. These cabs have been replaced with Version 2, which is slightly lighter but more expensive. One dealer I spoke to reckoned the V1 cabs had a smoother sound than the V2. V1 cabs can still be bought for around £750 for the pair, plus the bags are £68 each - a total of £886. I'm looking for £600 for the lot, and I'll throw some XLR leads in with that. Collection would be best, but I can arrange shipping for £20 total. I still have the original packing, so shipping isn't a problem I'll post some photos soon, Cheers Martin Edited July 5, 2009 by martinbass7750

martinbass7750
Hi Ben, I have a spare pair of lightweight alluminium stands that could be included. Cheers Martin
ben_eat_pie
Just thought I should ask the previous question for anyone who needs a set! Also, nowhere on the specification did it specify what size speakers these have.... I'm presuming 15" Cheers, P.s just so it's clear, I cannot afford to buy these! martinbass7750
I've copied the spec into my original post - the woofer is a 12" unit. total power is 400 W rms per cab. Cheers Martin
timmyo
Ooh - I'm very interested in these - and only up the road from you too. I have to sort the sale of a couple of things I have been putting off selling first so I'll get on to that Tim

They're in totally new condition. Give me an idea of timescales, and I'll hold off putting them on eBay; they seem to go for around £600 on eBay without cases etc. Cheers Martin

Let me know if you move them on before I come back (or if you list them at a lower start price )
Rimskidog
Don't suppose you are interested in a recording session in exchange?
