So Ive put this together for the U2 tribute

Body was ex Chris Cross

Neck from Aliexpress

Pickup Tonerider

Cts pots,  orange drop cap

I've literally screwed it together and tuned it up

Sounds like a P bass

Ive even wired it up myself and it works

it's a flat ish fingerboard, 38mm wide at the nut

not too shallow and quite nice actually

Feels like my Northwest guitars jazz neck

I will roll the fingerboard edges

 

I've just had another little noodle on it, it's actually very good

acoustically loud and good sustain

 

I know relics are loved and hated but I'm not taking out vintage guitars anymore, so this fullfills the job

it was already on it

along with a US serial number

good job the truss rod is adjusted from the headstock

 

need to stain the plain bits of wood a little but I was eager to see how it went together

Yes a bit of stain will improve things, can always wire wool it if you go too far
