steantval Posted Wednesday at 19:02 Posted Wednesday at 19:02 (edited) Can anyone give me any advice on where to purchase a replacement jack socket, the enclosed black box type, that is soldered to the circuit board, they seem almost impossible to get hold of. My bass is a 1994, 2 EQ Stingray. I would be most grateful for any guidance. Edited Wednesday at 19:03 by steantval Quote

I think you're probably best off contacting them directly. They'll likely ask you to send the part to them before they'll send out another. I hope I'm wrong, and that my case was the odd one out (took a year before I received a fitting pot for my NOS Bongo). Edited Wednesday at 20:16 by BassTractor 1 Quote

Delberthot Posted Wednesday at 23:53 Posted Wednesday at 23:53 (edited) I needed a battery box and output jack for my 2016 EMBB Sterling so emailed string and things It took a couple of months of very slow back and forth but eventually I received a box the size of a small suitcase ( I kid you not ) with the parts I needed. I can't remember exactly how much but it was roughly £22 delivered for both parts which seemed fairly reasonable 🤔 Edited Wednesday at 23:54 by Delberthot Quote
SimonK Posted Thursday at 06:49 Posted Thursday at 06:49 (edited) RE battery boxes, I've replaced them on both my stingrays (3EQ, 1998 & 2001) with the following which fits perfectly: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322826391603 RE the jack socket, I think you can get pretty close with standard parts: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265241820441 Edited Thursday at 06:52 by SimonK Quote

Buy them at Mouser @steantval, they are the original ones and the price is way lower. I even put the two official wiring diagrams in the link above. Quote
