SteveXFR Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) Today I decided to learn some Fugazi songs. I knew there were some great bass parts but I'd never realised how great. I learned Waiting Room first, dead simple and absolutely brilliant then on to Turnover which was much more tricky and so much fun to play. Going from the fast middle riff back in to the main riff is really tricky (for me) Any recommendations for more I should learn? Edited 9 hours ago by SteveXFR 1 Quote
KingPrawn Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago This is a belting bass line. Nice harmonics. Then full-on face-tearing riffs 1 Quote
Jackroadkill Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I'm learning Waiting Room at the moment; cracking bass lines. 1 Quote

Burns-bass Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I have never listened to a Fugazi record. Which is weird as I used to love this sort of stuff. The Beck thread has inspired me to listen to that. But what album would you recommend starting with? Quote

Jonesy Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I was just listening to Fugazi today too, what an awesome band and Joe is an underrated bass player, love his lines. Add Break to your list, top tune. Quote
