Fugazi

Today I decided to learn some Fugazi songs. I knew there were some great bass parts but I'd never realised how great. I learned Waiting Room first, dead simple and absolutely brilliant then on to Turnover which was much more tricky and so much fun to play. Going from the fast middle riff back in to the main riff is really tricky (for me)

Any recommendations for more I should learn?

It's only one riff (with slight variations) but an awesome riff.

I have never listened to a Fugazi record. Which is weird as I used to love this sort of stuff. 
 

The Beck thread has inspired me to listen to that. But what album would you recommend starting with?

I was just listening to Fugazi today too, what an awesome band and Joe is an underrated bass player, love his lines.

Fugazi are not only a band of incredible musicians, they have incredible ethics.

 

I personally love the album the argument and highly recommend giving it a listen.  A little more mellow than the earlier material.
