LowB_FTW Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Specifically the ball end of the strings, they look like they've just been pinned into the body. How is this done? Is it a peg like on classical guitars? Is it a screw? I saw the image in a random post on my Fb timeline, I searched for a more accessible version but couldn't locate it so screenshot the one on Fb. Downunderwonder Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Either an AI special or what appears to be pins inserted into the body laying back at an angle, catching the end bobble things. Quote
floFC Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I found another one with a bridge (?) like that, but the vast majority of the Skjold basses have more traditional ones, including the new range. Those look like pins. https://reverb.com/item/63509553-skjold-cathedral Quote
LeftyJ Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago They look like modified Hipshot D-style bridges, with different saddles and forfeiting the usual tailpiece: 4 String D Style Bass Bridge Really interesting idea! 1 Quote
