Thanks!![/quote] It was when I did it, made a huge difference as well, I put a tort guard on a white SUB and the whole bass looked about 20 years older and £500 more expensive. ezbass Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 (edited) My white SUB is also currently fitted with a tort p/g. I immediately replaced the faux metal thing with a plain black one. Neither p/g gave any problems when fitting. Here's some pics of both You'll notice that the tort version no longer has frets or dots.
