Happy to split the items and sell individually for prices listed. £40 discount for anyone who buys the two cabs together.

Reason for selling: to pay £300 excess on car insurance claim.

Bought these items new from GAK a year ago. Gigged the Hartke cabs just four times.

Very nice sounding cabs: clean, warm, smooth and punchy, ie. The Hartke Sound.

The 2.5XL is a 2 x 10" with an additional 5" high-range speaker. It is bigger than your average 2 x 10 both physically and in terms of sound.

The 115XL is a 1 x 15". It sounds full and deep without being dull or slow.

200W each cab @ 8ohms. 400W combined (@ 4 ohms). Loud enough for most indoor gig situations.

Hartke cabs are not lightweight (2.5XL - 66lbs. and 115XL - 60lbs.) but not overly heavy either.

I'd prefer cash on collection (London - although I could possibly deliver in/around London for nothing*). Should still have some of the original packaging so might be able to post (with buyer paying postage costs) and would consider taking paypal, although cash on collection/delivery in London is definitely preferred.

Any questions, please PM me or reply to this thread.
I have no problem with people discussing the fairness of the pricing or the quality of the gear. Thanks.

*once my car is repaired (hopefully before the end of this week).

That's a bloody good price for two fantastic cabs, considerably less than I paid for mine recently, times is hard if no-ones snapping these up

Yeh, I have a 115XL myself.
I'm considering the 2x10.

How do you think these two cabs would perform together, considering sound? power handling at 4ohms?

But the 115 XL is a very nice cab, I highly recommend it to people.

I've been running the 2.5XL and 115XL together (as is Steve from the looks of things).

The 15" is a bit deeper than the 2 10" which has a great mid-range and good high end. I've never had it sound harsh or brittle, just punchy, warm and clean. They go together very well. Physically the 2.5XL is 3" deeper than the 115XL. This isn't a problem as it balances fine when you stack them in line down the front. It's never wobbled or been unstable, even with 50lbs worth of racks on top of it.

What head are you using at the moment, out of interest?

I'm using the Hartke HA5500 (500 watts)
Would the 2x10 and 1x15 together at 4ohm be enough to handle the power?
Or should I look into the 4x10 instead?

The 2x10 plus 1x15 in theory handles 400W @ 4 Ohms but most people agree that you can use a 2:1 ratio either way when it comes to your cabs and amp - I will find and link to a good thread on that.

Yeah I am, with a warwick profet 3.2. The master vol is at about 12 o'clock at rehearsals. Two guitars, acoustic kit and loud singer and its plenty load enough, but more importantly very clear.

No, I don't think I could. I don't think I could get my dad to drive them over here either. "Hi Pops - fancy giving me a lift? It's only a few hundred miles and a huge ferry ride. Oh, they drive on the wrong side of the road there too."

It's a bit of a bummer really, as those two cabs would have gone down a treat and a half!
