Well it does have 4 "Elite" strings with it - that must up the price considerably. Try dismantling those and selling them by the inch - extra for the ball ends obviously

You can read Made In Japan on the heel on his Ebay pics. Can't quite get my head around this - does he seriously believe these basses are worth what he's asking or is it just the hope/assumption that someone, somewhere will be stupid enough to pay those prices?
