I though I had already answered this....

For my Trace Elliot 1048H (the name suggests it's not light!) I just use good old 2 man labour.
But I am making a trolley that it can fit one so it can both be wheeled (trolley type wheels) and stands a wee bit higher.

They like it when I beat them with sticks though....

And I'm far too fat and important to carry anything heavy, kind'a like most singers I've worked with :)

For the 2 combos that i use (1960s Ampeg Tube Combo: 300 Watts & Acoustic B200 Combo) i bought a set of wheels for each of them and screwed them in the bottom of the amp. I've had nor problem ever since.

A Peavey combo on a stage – now you’re just being ridiculous!

Personally, I think that the squirrels are the way to go, very resourceful animals……

I have one of those argos fishing trollies which I used to use when I had an Ashdown rig. I don't use it anymore. Make me an offer if you're interested.

So you can stick them to the side of your fridge?

If anyone local to me would like a dolly I have a spare one here. I got it so I could move my dual Acme Low-B2 + rack rig in one go but since I switched over to my Barefaced cabs they're either so light that wheels are totally unnecessary or they already have wheels built in.

P.S. I wouldn't trust grey squirrels - more likely to get their mates to distract you with a brief song and dance routine whilst they whip your cab off to a secret location for the provision of bassy sustenance later in the season. The reds are a much safer bet but they're terribly fussy eaters, don't get them a kebab after the gig if you want them to come back next time.

Blimey, thats what I call over engineering a solution!

I dont think I could actually fit that in my car without my bass gear in , let a lone with :)

I have Ashdown cabs and I use one of these.

It was on special when I bought it, suggested by someone on Basschat. Folds away nicely next to the cab in the boot of the car.

Yep, that's the one. Heaviest/bulkiest that's been on it is a Marshall 4x12 and a big cable box. No problem. Easily big (and deep) enough for my Mag 4x10.

The little fold down legs can be a pain the the arse (sometimes they just don't drop into place), but by and large, it's a fantastic little trolley. Weighs next to nothing. My old guitarist also used to use it at gigs to raise his cabinet up a bit.

Buy JLPs one!

I carry nearly everything...and the 8x10 is for sale as my band is useless at carrying.

I am quite skinny...they are all much bigger than me.

They cant even carry one Marshall Guitar head without whinging.
