the666thmessiah
I hate that this is my first proper post on here, but I enjoy to play my bass in my revision breaks, and now this just cant happen with decent sound! ~it keeps making popping sounds every 3-5 seconds, this is also volume dependant. I quite like it because up untill now it has been quite versatile, and, since Iv never had any experience with amps before, does anyone know if its blown? ~if not, does anyone know what the hell may be up with it? thanks in advance x

fekalizatorius
Is your bass active - battery could be dying. I used to get that depending on the bass output level with many amps. Try a different amp. If it continues, the problem is not in the ashdown, but in the EQ/pickup circuitry in the bass, usually the "tone/bright/trebble" knob is usually the one, that causes the noise. Also faulty cables can also cause this kind of problems. Make sure to check every piece of gear. Cheers, Fek.
