He was born in the late 1940's...
and he has never been to bed once!

"He was born in Bombay, India on 15 February 1951" says Wikipedia ..

He's not known as Normfaratu for nothing :)

That's because rich american women have their faces ironed every morning.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Norm a few times. The first time at considerable length with the chance to share a few beers with.

The bloke is an absolute gent and a really good story teller and laugh. We never mentioned bass playing once.

I think the bass he's playing now is a prototype made by the Bass Centre

Its a replica of his old gold Jazz

The price tag is a bit steep though

ROFLMAO.....I'll have you know thats a solar panel mate.
We may look a trifle eccentric but we still got it goin on!
As to his bass, its beaten to buggery. I had a good look but cant remember the name on the headstock.

Saw the Blockheads recently and Norman gives his all in performance: so much so we watched his suit gradually darken as he sweats buckets. I notice in the photo he obviously had another good gig!

Funny then how "the Doctor" gets younger and more trendy every time he regenerates... and Norman er... doesn't.

Yeah that's it. Amusingly it appears to have an SX headstock shape.
It's also pre-bugg3r3d as part of the customising.
Sounds great though.

His performance is full on, communicating constantly with the (very young) drummer and locked in.
